SMS confirmation is not a standalone add-on or plugin, but a parameter installed and configured directly on the POS printer. To activate the SMS function and customize the SMS text, this can be easily done via an external online system by installing the parameters on your device. (Users do not have access; this is managed by the admin via autoprinthub.com.)
This is one of the most cost-effective solutions, as it eliminates the need for third-party gateways. The system supports the use of SIM cards inserted into the POS printer, allowing messages to be sent directly from your own phone number. With this feature, customers receive an immediate SMS confirmation of their orders.
Key Features:
- When an order is confirmed via the partner app, an SMS is sent to the customer with details such as time and date.
- If an order is rejected via the partner app, the customer receives an SMS with the reason for the rejection.
- The reason for the rejection can be easily entered via the partner app.
For orders sent from WooCommerce, only the order number, time, and same-day date are read; pre-ordered dates on a different day are not supported, for example: Order number# xxxx confirmed time 14:20 2024-9-14.
